From the bride: “My now husband and I met in high school and have been dating ever since (about 9.5 years now). We wanted our wedding to be relaxed and fun – food and music were big priorities to make that happen, but being the creative mind that I am I had a vision that I really wanted to make happen. My mom and aunts were a tremendous help in making this a reality. In the months leading up to the wedding my mom and I found different vases, candles, etc to use for the centerpieces and the day of my mom and aunts put them all together. It did’t take much research for me to decide that I was also going to DIY the flowers. One meeting with a florist and I knew that there was no way the traditional route would work for us/our budget. We would have paid three times as much for flowers if we would have used the florist I met with. And it was totally worth it! The wedding day was everything that we hoped it would be and more. Everyone had so much fun and it was absolutely beautiful!”
