Sweet Floral Cake Ideas

Sugar flowers are great and all, but I will admit I prefer fresh flowers instead! Plus if you have flowers left over, why not use them on your cake? While browsing Pinterest, I came across a ton of beautiful wedding cakes decorated with fresh blooms such as roses, garden roses, ranunculus and more. Greenery was also a popular pick too! There was one style in particular that caught my attention, and that was the naked cake. This trendy style has really grown on me! At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked the “unfinished” look, but after I saw the many ways you could spice it up, I became a huge fan! For those who aren’t familiar, a naked cake is an un-frosted (or lightly frosted) cake that is usually decorated with berries, flowers and other beautiful things! Whether you chose to use fresh blooms as your cake topper or as an accent, it will look beautiful. Check out the yummy inspiration below that is (almost) too good to eat!
