Sugar flowers are great and all, but I will admit I prefer fresh flowers instead! Plus if you have flowers left over, why not use them on your cake? While browsing Pinterest, I came across a ton of beautiful wedding cakes decorated with fresh blooms such as roses, garden roses, ranunculus and more. Greenery was also a popular pick too! There was one style in particular that caught my attention, and that was the naked cake. This trendy style has really grown on me! At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked the “unfinished” look, but after I saw the many ways you could spice it up, I became a huge fan! For those who aren’t familiar, a naked cake is an un-frosted (or lightly frosted) cake that is usually decorated with berries, flowers and other beautiful things!
