Styled Shoot: Roses and Eucalyptus Table Runner

For this in-house styled shoot, we decided create a super cute (DIY friendly) table runner! Perfect for a bridal shower, wedding reception, baby shower or just about any occasion. We used our trusty wooden table as the base of this gorgeous DIY garland. We started by laying strands of Baby Eucalyptus Greenery down the center of the table. A little less than a grower’s bunch, which is 8-10 stems were used. We then grabbed 10 White Tibet Roses and cut the stems off. The stems were left about 1-2 inches long. After that, we inserted each bloom into our eucalyptus runner. We finished the look by adding our favorite all-white tableware and candles. (Yes, it really is that simple!) What I love about this styled shoot is its versatility and the ability to add your own personal touch. You could change up the greenery, roses or maybe add a ton of color to add your personal touch. The finished look was both fresh and elegant! Here’s how it came together…

A couple of things to keep in mind, upon arrival the greenery was given a fresh trim and placed into a five gallon bucket filled with water. We made sure not to overstuff the bucket because that could damage the leaves. The roses were also trimmed and placed into a five gallon bucket but the cardboard around the blooms were left on for a couple of hours while they hydrated. You can find our detailed care instructions for roses here. The second thing to keep in mind is that water tubes were not used on the roses. As mentioned, this was a styled shoot so we decided they weren’t needed. However, if you choose to recreate this look for your special event then I’d recommend using them! Water tubes will keep the roses hydrated throughout the event and it’ll keep them looking fresh.
